Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, installing or playing Banbosh Checkers (the "game"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
Your licence to play
BANBOSH Studio grants you a free, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial entertainment. The game is provided free of charge.
Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the game, and not to reverse-engineer, decompile, modify or create derivative works from it, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law. You must not use the game in any unlawful way. When using the optional online multiplayer, which connects you directly to another player, you agree to behave respectfully and not to misuse the connection or disrupt other players.
Online play
Online multiplayer is optional and relies on a direct peer-to-peer connection between players' devices. Because matches run device-to-device rather than through our servers, we cannot guarantee that an online match will connect, remain stable or complete — connection quality depends on both players' networks and devices, which are outside our control.
Intellectual property
The game, including its code, artwork, graphics, sounds and the "Banbosh Checkers" name, is owned by BANBOSH Studio and is protected by copyright and other laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
No warranty
The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the game will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BANBOSH Studio shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the game. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
App stores
The game is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of those stores is also subject to their own terms. These terms are between you and BANBOSH Studio, not with Apple or Google, who are not responsible for the game or for providing support for it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
